The Birdsong Chapel is a 1728 ft.² open air chapel in a woodland setting outside Goldsboro North Carolina. A wedding experience that is up close with nature, under the protection of a roof! Surrounded by trees, the birds literally surround you in song! Antique pews provide seating for approximately 200 people. Beautiful chandeliers and woodwork details create a peaceful scene. Ceiling fans keep air moving! The ringing of the Chapel’s tower bell at the conclusion of the ceremony could be the perfect job for a young ring bearer or flower girl!
Carriage Hall, a separate 3000 ft.² (heated & cooled) space for dining and dancing. It will be ready for use in 2022 with completion expected in fall of 2021. The space will include restrooms as well as a caterers’ preparation area.
Decorative lighting creates a magical scene in the trees and on the trails of the property. The trails lead to several picturesque areas perfect for photo shoots. There is a wooden arbor area with climbing vines, a hexagon area, a wooden seat created from tree branches, and a pond for water views or a canoe photo! Nature is always on great display at the pond! Wildlife abounds! The porches on the houses and the outdoor fireplace at “the Camp” also are available for photography. Venue staff will chauffeur the couple and photographers, by golf cart, to the photo sites.
The Honeymoon House, furnished with antiques and beautiful mirrors, is available for the Bridal party preparation and photos. This home may also be rented for a single overnight before and after the wedding. *
The Camp (hunting cabin style), furnished with vintage items, is available for the groom and groomsmen to prepare for the wedding. The camp includes an outdoor fireplace and picnic area as well as corn hole boards and a basketball goal.
During events, Cornealius Properties Personnel will be on site in the parking area to assist those who would like transport to the chapel by golf cart.
A 1931 “Model A” Ford is available for a chauffeured (brief) drive-away & photos of the couple.
