23rd Annual Goldsboro YMCA Sprint Triathlon
Good afternoon everyone! It’s that time of year again for our Triathlon and I need lots of volunteers. The race is Saturday Aug. 2 at the Village of Walnut Creek, the race starts at Lake Wackena at 7:30 am.
Volunteer spots are as follows:
Set up (Aug 1 and 2)
Registration
Timers
Directional people for the run and the transition areas
Water Stations
Finish line
Refreshments
If you are available to help out that day, let me know!!! Each volunteer receives a commemorative shirt for their help. There are several areas that your entire family unit could help out. We always have volunteers of all ages. This event is very special to the Goldsboro YMCA and the proceeds from the race go to fund our financial assistance program.
