Gene Roberts is an American Journalist and Professor or Journalism who has written for several newspapers including our own Goldsboro News Argus. Roberts, along with co-author Hank Klibanoff won the Pulitzer Prize for History after writing the book The Race Beat which chronicled the Civil Rights struggle in America and the role the press played in bringing it to the forefront.
