Mount Olive College will be transformed into a winter wonderland for the fourth annual Christmas by Candlelight service. Attendees will be treated to a variety of pre-event activities including an ice skating rink, picture snow globe, and carriage rides.  Again this year luminaries will be placed in honor and in memory of loved ones with funds raised going to the Free Will Baptist Children’s Home. At 7:30 PM at the Mount Olive Assembly Hall, guests will enjoy a Christ-centered service patterned after the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, a traditional English evening service, which began in Cambridge in 1918. The service will include nine Scripture lessons, tracing salvation history; each reading will be followed by a carol. Music will be provided by the Mount Olive College Music Department and other local choirs. This event is free and open to the public.
