Harrison Lecture
Dr. Ellen Ott Marshall will be the guest speaker for the 22nd Annual Vivian B. Harrison Lecture. Marshall is associate professor of Christian Ethics and Conflict Transformation at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. She focuses on contemporary Christian ethics, and is particularly interested in issues of violence and peacemaking, ethical questions in literature and film, and the dynamic relationship between faith, history and ethics. The first lecture will be held on March 26 at 7 PM. On March 27, there will be a 9 AM lecture, an 11 AM worship service, and a 12:30 PM luncheon. The purpose of the event is to provide a medium for continuing education for the ministers and laypersons of North Carolina.
