About the Potter
Randy Wright
I was first introduced to clay and the potters wheel in a California High School under the direction of Jim McGee in the mid 70s. The idea of using my hands to create something on a potters wheel that many in my art class couldn't do increased my drive. Over the past 30 + years I have dabbled with clay but not growing into the artist that I wanted to be. Over the last few years the opportunity has presented itself to allow me to continue with this amazing craft. After retiring from the Fire Department with 30+ years and with the support of my family, friends and many local potters I have started a small studio in my home. I use my middle name “Leo” to sign my work.
