The Goldsboro Ballet will perform Our Town & Carnival of Animals at the Paramount Theatre on March 14, 2009 at 7 p.m. and on March 15, 2009 at 3 p.m. There is also a performance on March 13 at 9:00 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. for school aged students.  If you have a student and would like them to attend, tickets are $5 per child and free to teachers and teacher assistants.  Contact Goldsboro Ballet for reservations.

Come experience the nature of animals as told through a ballet. Carnival of Animals is a set of character pieces, each of which is meant to describe a particular animal, usually by mimicking the sounds it makes or characterizing the way it moves or carries itself. If you ever thought people acted like animals, now would be the time to come see it.
