Plum Tree Market Place will be opening Friday, April 8th from 4:00 - 7/8:00pm for the season through November 5, 2011. It is located between Walnut & Chestnut on South George. The market features local produce, fine arts & crafts(baskets & pottery) home produced items (jams, jellies, preserves etc.), American Indian art, fabric art, free-range chicken eggs, natural goat cheese, and vermiculture supplies for your garden. This second season we will be adding natural beef, seafood, more baked goods, and any number of unique offerings.
First Fridays look for music and food. VENDORS we need you to let us know what you have to sell and how often you will be able to commit to selling at the market. SPACE, CANOPIES, TABLES, CHAIRS are supplied FREE to Wayne County residents. We especially need seafood and baked goods and on first Fridays musicians and food.

HBO FILMING - Kabreeya, one of Dreamweaver's first WSOE gardening students, will be
filmed during the market for a HBO special. She has since formed SWARM, a
youth group working to change school lunch menus to include more healthy foods.
3 PRODUCE VENDORS WILL SELL WEEKLY - Even though it is early in the season we will have fresh picked strawberries, tomatoes, kale, turnips, spinach, lettuce, rhutabaga.
A variety of herb & vegetable plants plus shrubs will be available for planting in your garden.
Vermiculture supplies for organic gardening and advice from the "Worm Man" will be available.
HOME PRODUCED ITEMS INCLUDE - natural goat cheese (6 flavors), free range eggs,
