Spring Fling at MOC
MOUNT OLIVE- The Mount Olive College Singers' Spring Fling Concert is scheduled for Thursday, April 16th at 7:00 p.m. in Southern Bank Auditorium.
The theme for this year's event will be, "Some Like it Hot," featuring Latin American rhythms, texts and melodies. The Spring Fling musical selections will include a six-part arrangement of “Chili Con Carne,” an arrangement of Santana’s hit “Oye Como Va,” and various Cuban songs. Following the vocal jazz set, the MOC Singers will perform a medley of song and dance tunes from Leonard Bernstein’s “West Side Story.”
“If you want to spice up your life without the fear of heartburn, plan on attending this concert,” said Dr. Gregg Cannady, director of the MOC Singers.
