State of the Community 2008
State of the Community is a new program presented by the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce's Governtment Affairs Committee. The program is a series of quarterly panel presentations to give our citizens a glimpse of recent activities and future plans in economic development, downtown development, business recruitment and job creation, educational partnerships and initiatives, healthcare and quality of life initiatives.
Panelist for this presentation include: City of Goldsboro, Mayor Al King, County of Wayne, Lee Smith- County manger, President of the Wayne Community College, Dr. Kay Albertson, Superintendent of WC Public schools, Dr. Steve Taylor, Tom Bradshaw from Wayne Memorial Hospital and a respresntative from SJAFB.
