United Way of Wayne County's Days of Caring 2010

Calling all businesses, individuals, families and clubs: get involved with Days of Caring to make an impact in our community!

The 2010 Days of Caring will be held September 13-18th. This week of service will begin with our United Way of Wayne County's Community Campaign Kick-Off event on September 9th from 5:30-6:30 at the Paramount Theatre.

Days of Caring is a unique opportunity to connect with your community by volunteering for one-time projects that benefit the people of Wayne County. Visit www.volunteerwayne.org to sign-up for projects and learn more.

Non-profit agencies involved this year include: American Red Cross, Cherry Hospital, Boys & Girls Clubs of Wayne County, Meals on Wheels, Wayne Opportunity Center, Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne and Communities In Schools. Examples of projects include: delivering meals to seniors, building maintenance, lawn work, supply drives, back to school fun day, home construction and many more.
